Xavier a dedicated Medical Assistant with over a decade of diverse healthcare experience,
having graduated from Medical Assistant school in 2014. He completed his externship
at MedStar Franklin Square in 2014, working in the Family Medicine department, and
then returned in 2015 as a full-time Medical Assistant, where he gained invaluable
hands-on experience in patient care and clinical support. In 2018, he expanded his
expertise by joining Johns Hopkins in the Dermatology Surgery department, specializing
in the MOHS surgery technique for the removal of skin cancers. He is highly experienced
in First Aid, CPR, and assisting with minor procedures, further strengthening his
ability to provide comprehensive care in various clinical settings. Over the years,
he has worked across a wide range of industries, broadening his skill set and understanding
of patient care. He is excited to bring his knowledge and fresh perspective to Towson
University, where he looks forward to helping educate patients on health, making healthcare
more approachable, and assisting them through the transition from childhood to adulthood. |
