Health & Well-being
Working to promote every student鈥檚 holistic well-being through inclusive services, health education and campus-wide collaboration.
Tigers Thrive
Supporting a Culture of Student Well-being Across University Life
Through the focus of the four pillars of well-being at TU, students can expect to thrive in all areas of campus life.
Mind
Cultivating an awareness of thoughts and emotions while encouraging self-acceptance and self-compassion can increase one鈥檚 ability to cope effectively with life鈥檚 ups and downs. Recognizing the importance of seeking support when needed can empower us to navigate adversity with strength and a balanced mindset.
Body
Establishing healthy self-care habits such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate rest and routine medical care can help prevent illness, injury and chronic conditions and enhance vitality. Investing in our bodies boosts productivity, increases energy levels and elevates overall quality of life.
Community
Building community allows people to come together around shared ideals and interests. Communities promote well-being by fostering a sense of belonging and connection while also providing mutual support to their members. Smaller communities can enrich the larger community by sharing resources, ideas and energy which can cultivate positive change in the world around them.
Purpose
Finding your purpose involves aligning your actions with your aspirations, values and beliefs. Purpose may be driven by personal passions, relationships or a desire to contribute to something greater than yourself. When your purpose is clear, it brings a sense of fulfillment and direction, guiding you through challenges and helping you stay focused on what truly matters in life.
