Important Notice: Effective September 1, 2025, all Vendors interested in working with Towson University (TU) must be registered on
eMMA is the State of Maryland鈥檚 online procurement platform that provides an efficient means to improve vendor access to Maryland State procurement information and contracting opportunities. The system also provides greater opportunities for businesses and enhances the efficiency and timeliness of the procurement process. eMMA provides TU, and other Maryland State entities, the means to publish solicitations online for potential bidders, providing transparency and equal access to all solicitation information.
Becoming a registered Vendor on eMMA places company information into the online business directory to assist the vendor in the growth of their business. As registered vendors on eMMA, interested bidders can browse solicitations or subscribe to receive email notifications when solicitations matching a business profile or by commodity codes, are published.
eMMA provides Vendors with detailed registration instructions as well as information related to using their system. Vendors are encouraged to use the following information to register in eMMA and/or to learn more about the platform:

- Course-based instruction for pre-registration, registration, and use of the system

- Answers to frequently asked questions including registration, UNSPSC codes, certifications, and more

- Additional materials and helpdesk information for vendors
