Non-Degree Applicants

Non-degree enrollment is the best choice for visiting students who wish to take a few courses for personal, professional or academic reasons.

To be eligible for non-degree status, students must have graduated from high school at least two years prior to attending TU. However, exceptions are granted if you are currently pursuing a degree (or have pursued a degree) at another college or university.

Students that have been academically dismissed from another college or university are not eligible for non-degree enrollment. Students who have been denied admission as a degree-seeking student are not eligible for non-degree enrollment, nor eligible to continue as a non-degree student. If you attended Towson University as a degree-seeking student and have not obtained your bachelor鈥檚 degree, you are not eligible for non-degree. Please contact the Registrar鈥檚 Office for the Reenrollment process

If you are a returning non-degree student 鈥 one who attended TU on a non-degree basis in the past and has never been continuously enrolled at TU 鈥 you must complete a new Undergraduate Non-Degree Enrollment Form following each stop in enrollment.
