Our Study Abroad & Away Peer Advisors are current TU students who have already studied abroad or away and now work in the TU Study Abroad & Away Office. They are eager to share stories about their time abroad or away and can provide first-hand advice and guidance before, during, and after your experience.

Study Abroad & Away Peer Advisors can help you research programs, look up classes, and give you general tips about studying away or overseas. Send them an email at to ask a specific question or to make an appointment to meet with one of them. You don鈥檛 have to be interested in the destination where the Peer Advisor studied or the program they participated in to talk with them.

NOTE: Students who meet with a Peer Advisor are still required to attend a Study Abroad & Away group advising session and meet with a Study Abroad & Away Advisor.

Hello! I am Rose Braddock, a junior International Business major with an Italian Minor. I participated in the TU in Italy - Florence program to for the Spring 2024 semester. During my time abroad I was able to expand my Italian language education as well as grow personally by getting out of my comfort zone and being open to new experiences. One of my favorite parts about studying abroad was taking a cooking class for the first time!

Hi everyone! I am a junior majoring in International Business and minoring in Italian and Business Law. I participated in the TU Italian Language and Culture in Venice, Italy faculty-led program in Minimester 2023 and the TU Global Internship Program in Rome, Italy in Summer 2024. Studying and interning abroad helped me improve my Italian language speaking skills, build lasting friendships, and gain practical experience in my field. Hi, my name is Kaci and I am a Sophomore majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. I participated in TU's first ever Tigers Abroad program in Brazil before the 2023-2024 school year. My study abroad experience was truly one of a kind for me. I love learning new things and traveling so studying abroad was the ideal situation for me. And the food was amazing!

Hi everyone! I'm currently a junior with a double major in International studies and Sociology with a concentration in Anthropology, and a minor in Political Science. I participated in the TU Career Exploration and Professional Development faculty-led Spring Break program in Barcelona, Spain, spent six weeks on a summer program in Japan and South Korea, and completed an internship in San Jose, Costa Rica through the TU Global Internship program. Studying abroad has opened many doors of opportunity and connection for me that will benefit me throughout my life. I love studying abroad and being in new environments!
